Pffft paint is simple, just go into Stretch/Skew and reduce from there. Stretched to 50% of original vertical and horizontal will usually get the job done (unless your source is 2048x1536 like what my annoying phone takes).
Interesting thought... though i suspect the hassle might be worth more than the resulting donations. Such a system definitely needs strong transparency controls so voters can see how's getting what from where...
Very valid point Dank, certainly a cause for concern...

Very interesting indeed, i've known about such technology for a while now, especially in glass/hard surfaces, but i didn't realize it was so close to being commercially ready for more general use.

I agree with Ix, it's easier to believe that Einsteins light speed barrier is wrong than try to prove the existence of extra dimensions. I wouldn't feel too bad about having to scrap current knowledge though, they already know that if they can't pro…
As plausible as the virus theory is it could just as well have been a simple non-malicious accident... Scary stuff if it was Duqu though given that Iran recently announced it had managed to get a handle on it earlier in the week.

As funny as that political response was, it's still miles better than the blanket 'No Comment's we've been experiencing here during the past week and a half of our current elections.
And i saw that one about the pope earlier, and i seriously wonder…

I remember that article, though honestly it's not the worst case i've ever heard about game-rage spilling over to real life. There are plenty of other articles out there where people have been killed by raging gamers, though nothing as premeditated …

Have to admit that Sarkozy/Obama comment is more interesting than a Bush/Blair one that was overheard at some other conference a couple years back. I can't recall exactly what they said or when, but i think it was something to do with a giving/gifti…

There's my point, if she's sleeping on stairwells then was she really being kept there? If she was told she couldn't leave wouldn't it be in the airlines interest to ensure that she actually couldn't? It's not like the movie The Terminal, this was a…
